The‘09 Accent is now more fuel efficient. Consumers opting for the manual transmission will see a 3% improvement in highway driving; while those selecting automatic transmission will see a 5% improvement on the highway and a 7% improvement in the city.

Cruise control will now be offered as standard equipment on the Accent 4 door GLS trim for 2009.

Whether you choose the Accent L or GL’s 4-speaker setup or the option of the Accent GL with Sport Package’s 6-speaker design, expect your tunes to be loud and clear thanks to the AM/FM/Aux.Plug/CD/MP3 audio system.

A handy 60/40 split fold-down rear seat is standard on all models to help handle bulky items.

A multi-adjustable driver’s seat is included on all Accent models.

A 110-hp inline, DOHC, 1.6L, 4-cylinder engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing is fun to drive with the added satisfaction of excellent fuel economy.

All models come equipped with a 1.6L, 16-valve, DOHC 4-cylinder engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPI), delivering 110 horsepower.

The GLS model includes six standard airbags, two front, two roof and two side-mounted.
